The heart of our creations: upcycled materials
At Bizzybodeez, an impressive 90% of our materials are completely upcycled or Handmade. We meticulously collect these treasures from recycling centres, closed-down businesses, charity shops, online marketplaces, and even from generous friends and family. Our mission is to creatively transform items that are no longer needed, diverting them from landfills and turning them into something truly unique and artistic. We are dedicated to crafting high-quality products that everyone can cherish.

From discarded to delightful: our macrame journey
Let's take a peek into how we create our macrame products. It often begins with sourcing a large quantity of offcut materials, such as cotton, hemp rope, or yarn. We've even successfully macramed using unusual finds like boat rope and leather belts from a recycling centre! Once collected, these materials, often in a tangled state, require hours or even days of patient untangling and re-rolling into their correct sizes, typically guided by millimetre or ply measurements.
The art of macrame: knots, patterns and personalisation
Once organised, the material is ready for cutting. After deciding on the macrame style, the materials are cut to the correct length and number of strands. The process typically starts by making a lark's head knot, anchoring the material to a stick or ring. Using various knotting techniques and repeating patterns, we design the desired shape. Finally, we trim any excess material to create a fringe or secure it with a final knot. Any waste from cuttings is then re used on another product. We also offer personalisation on selected products, including colours, sizes, and name printing. Plus, exciting news: epoxy resin creations, crafted by our youngest team member, aged 8, are coming soon!
